Working with Recruiters: A Dual Perspective

Navigating the job market often involves working with recruiters. In the past, as a job seeker, I've experienced the mixed feelings that come with having a third-party liaison—it's both a challenge and a blessing. I have wondered what the hiring manager was thinking, not ever hearing back from them directly. However, recruiters also streamline the process: when you hop on a call with them, the focus is usually on basic qualifications, which can help ease your nerves. Moreover, securing an interview with the hiring team means you've already passed some initial scrutiny, allowing you to be more relaxed and authentic.

Having been part of the recruitment industry for two years and observing those around me, especially within the Factor Talent team, has been enlightening. Watching recruiters at work, I've seen the dedication and energy they put into finding the right candidates. When they find a fantastic fit, their excitement is palpable.

Factor Talent recruiters put immense effort into studying the market and discovering unique ways to connect with potential candidates. Their follow-up to ensure both candidates and clients are satisfied is meticulous, and their attention to detail is uncompromising. This behind-the-scenes look has given me a deeper appreciation for the hard work and passion that goes into recruitment.

Ultimately, I've realized recruiters are on your side. They are looking for a win/win/win situation: the candidate wins, the client wins, and as a result, the recruiter wins.
