The Role

We are building the most advanced online casino in the world. This role will be working alongside our VP of Engineering to drive our MVP product to release. The ideal candidate for this role would be comfortable working in an environment that requires figuring out challenges and unblocking themselves. Our technology is good but new, so we need people who are able to work across the stack and have experience working in early stage projects and delivering high quality code.

We are a small, fast-growing team with a big mission. We have a lot to achieve and an aggressive roadmap to get it done. We need someone who can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate would be comfortable wearing “multiple hats” and learning on the go. Working well in ambiguity is a must since our teams are still small with lots of projects in flight. We all must have a “get things done mentality” with a bias towards action. A successful hire would be very comfortable sharing their opinions and expertise, collaborating openly without ego and giving honest feedback to team members. 

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, local / dev / staging / prod environments
• Integrating 3rd party services to accelerate our product development
• Leading projects, writing code, owning deliverables
• Collaborating with engineering teams in Asia
• Mentoring new team members
• Contributing to architectural decisions, product decisions, roadmaps, and feature discussions

Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, delivering complex projects on time and at high quality
• Experience in a role requiring cross-functional communication and collaboration
• Expert knowledge of data structures, algorithms, modern design patterns, and data layers
• Expert knowledge of distributed systems and high-scale, high-availability services
• A track record of delivering high-quality, high-impact, large-scale projects with PII and banking information
• Excellent communication skills, ability to add clarity when contributing to a project

Preferred

• Experience with GoLang, TypeScript, PHP
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Microservices 
• Experience working with overseas teams 

 

Compensation

In the U.S., the salary range for this position is $180,000-$250,000 per year, which factors in various geographic regions.
The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience; among other factors.
